"A historic Ford Heights church with a congregation of 1,300 became a burned-out shell after flames gutted the building overnight. Fire ravaged “Christ for Everyone Ministries” in Ford Heights Wednesday night. Ministers were able to get out of the church before it went up in flames.", Said FORD HEIGHTS local news. 

 

It was November 3rd, 2010 when members, families, friends and the pastor received a drastic call all at once from different people in the neighborhood. "The Church is on fire, call the police department and fire department.” said local neighbors. This church has been the stepping ground from the founder's of the church, Pastor George & Blondell Franklin, all the way to this time to come. The 12 Franklin siblings built this church starting from 1 brick at a time. Over time one young child named Kenneth Franklin, became the voice and leader of CFE. Bishop Kenneth Franklin has been the leader of CFE for over 25 years. CFE all started from one small house for pray services to a beautiful church full of over 1300 God fearing worshippers. Although the building burned down, THE CHURCH CAUGHT FIRE with praise to the LORD.

After having services at other beautiful church’s, hotels, banquets hall and even auditoriums, we kept God first and continued to pray and seek his face. As time went on God began to bless us with tremendous gifts and donations, until in 2014 Bishop Franklin was called into his office for a call. As the Bishop continued the call he couldn’t wait until the next service at the school to give an announcement. Sunday came and he released the message, "CFE Members, We now have the keys to our new church". The Church began to praise God all day and night. 

On April 24th, 2014 at 7 pm, Christ For Everyone Ministries Campus was now officially open for the service. This 6.87-acre campus is fully equipped to do much more than what we asked God to bless us with. The campus included, Banquet hall, Theater, Multi-Purpose Hall, Library, Very Large Sanctuary, Office Space, Apartments, Dormitory, Gymnasium and much more. We are thankful to the highest.
